Foremost Industries, Inc., a privately owned corporation, began its productive history of building modular homes in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, in 1964. The founder and current president, Ralph C. Michael, moved the corporation to Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, in 1964 in order to meet the rapidly growing demand for modular housing and to provide quality craftsmanship and exceptional value to its customers. In September of 1965, with an even bigger demand for our high quality homes, we once again relocated to our current location in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. Since that move, we have relocated our corporate and sales offices, opened a new state of the art modular plant in Upton, Pennsylvania, in 2008, and in 2007 opened a new custom truss and panelized home plant.
Furthermore, seeing a need to offer high quality custom cabinetry, we have opened our own kitchen and bath cabinetry plant in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania in 1989. This plant provides the Appalachian Mill Collection of fine cabinetry that is displayed at our showroom.
With all of this behind us at Foremost Industries, Inc. we have the distinction and experience of being one of the oldest modular home manufacturers on the East Coast. Our commitment to quality, growth, and competitiveness is evident in each and every Foremost home we build.
We encourage you to see our product to accurately form a comparison so that your investment in a Foremost home can be made with confidence and assurance - confidence that you've invested in one of the finest homes constructed today, and assurance that you are receiving the most advanced construction technologies combined with efficiency, accuracy, and strict quality control, while never forgetting old-fashioned craftsmanship. |
